How do I change the name on my TV Licence?

You can change your name, address, email and telephone number online using the TV Licensing website.

You will need to have your surname, TV Licence number and postcode to hand. Once they have received your new details, they will update their records but you will not receive a new licence and your TV Licence number will stay the same.

If you do not know your TV Licence number, you can complete all the fields on their contact form: www.tvlicensing.co.uk/contact-us/ remembering to provide both your old and new details.
